Sonia Morffi is a Mexican-rooted businesswoman and media executive, raised in a family of politicians and artists who deeply influenced her vision and family values. Each member of her family achieved recognition in their respective fields, shaping her commitment to excellence, creativity and service. Sonia is widely recognized for her entrepreneurial vision and her unwavering commitment to empowering the Hispanic community and women.
Achievements in Mexico
In 2019, Sonia received the Golden Palms Award (Palmas de Oro) from the National Circle of Journalists in Mexico, as well as the National Award for Professional Excellence at the Seventh World Peace Congress held in the Mexican Senate.
In 2021, she was featured in two editions of Forbes Magazine: “Top 100 Most Powerful Women of Mexico” and “Los Banqueros de México.”
Achievements in the United States
In 2016, Sonia was recognized by the City of Los Angeles on behalf of Radio Latino Inc. for her work empowering small businesses.
In 2017, she received an award from the California State Legislature Assembly, 40th District (San Bernardino) for her mission to help Latinas develop their personal and professional goals through education.
In 2024, she was honored by the House of Representatives of the State of Texas for her leadership and community contributions.
A single mother who embodies resilience and purpose-driven entrepreneurship, Sonia is the Founder and CEO of Radio Latino Inc. and CANADEM USA —two platforms dedicated to mentorship, networking, and community development. Through Radio Latino, she provides educational and empowering content for Latinos, with a focus on women and small businesses.
Her leadership extends globally. On March 21, 2025, at the Delegate Dining Hall of the United Nations. Sonia was recognized as the USA Country Chair for the G100 Business Networking Wing. The G100 is an empowered global network of 100 women leaders representing diverse fields and working across 100 countries, including Nobel Laureates, Heads of State, Ministers, business women, and community leaders.
